I liked it. This book popped up as a recommendation after I read “My Dark Vanessa.” Definitely a very emotionally gripping read. You can sympathize but also feel really mad at the same time. A good break from the typical thrillers I read.

Thrift store had this textile in the “throws/blankets” section, but I thought it felt more like a rug. Washed it, laid it out to image search it, and someone decided it was hers.

Granted, I did do this like 15 minutes before her dinner, so it was more an attempt to stop me.

I wanted to love it. The good parts were amazing but a majority of the book is confusing. There was definitely some confusion on the plot and plot points. I wish this book released closer to Halloween, as it would’ve been a cute Halloween read.
