The trick is to use your atheism to inform, not negate. Humility is important. Compassion is crucial. Love is essential. They're needed for our moral evolution, not because a religious chimera says so.

For the numbers and secrecy to make sense, I think he must have offered an offshore hedge fund using the most aggressive secrecy and tax-avoidance strategies - and stole from clients.
