Couldn’t they find an actual photo of inside the stadium rather than using AI slop?
why are bees doing brutalism
The most expensive season ticket in the Championship is reportedly £620 at Middlesborough. Imagine Spurs still charging some fans £2,350.
A google maps view of the area around the Strait of Hormuz, with crude markup showing the 4 steps to successfully clearing the strait: 1. Build up speed 2. Hit Trampoline 3. Cool backflip 4. Nail the landing The boat is illustrated using a clip art yacht, and the trampoline is also just kind of floating there.
wait. wait. everyone hold on. i've solved it
"It's pronounced VANKER!"
A chonky daytime fox
While we’re on the subject of British wildlife, this chonky fox invaded our garden the other day. No idea how it got back out.
Sometimes a game can be summarised in a single photo.
You know it’s going to be a banger
I assume we only get to see the top of Ali because his trousers are firmly off.
It’s no munchy box.
Cool (/cold) AF.
CfT are the dog that caught the car. They wanted Levy out and they got what they wanted.
Maybe we should get behind our team for the rest of the season and keep the protests for the end? 🤷
Don’t make me root for Nuclear Armageddon.
Hmm… maybe we should try winning some league games then.
If we win the Champions League do we automatically get a place in the Premier League for next season?
V good private eye this week
A pre-colonial Māori wooden carving of a kurī, a breed of dog. The wooden figure is a pale white-brown, and depicts the upwardly-curved tail characteristic of this species of dog.
Another one from the “humanity throughout history has always been making little guys” archives! This comes from Aotearoa New Zealand, and is a kurī, or dog, made from kānuka wood. The only known pre-colonial Māori carving of a dog, they were found within Moncks Cave at Christchurch in 1889
A very noisy and flash Darth Vader TIE Fighter.
Bought the kids some of the new Smart Play Lego as a moving-in present. It’s very noisy so, of course, they fucking love it.
Lego that requires charging feels wrong to this grognard though.
all-timer sports graphic dropped
Republic of Korea’s shirts are always such bangers.
Thank you! 😴
Holy fuck, it took us 14 hours to move house but we did it. I am never moving again (and I’m not just talking about moving house).
What are we up to now? Two series, twelve Christmas specials and a movie?
Not complaining…
Hannah Spencer walking into Westminster, sucking her teeth, tutting, and muttering "tell you what, you've had some cowboys in here."
The first woman in Parliament to appear in the Guardian's 'best-dressed at Glastonbury' feature.
You'll never sing that, etc...
A scan of two peope drawn by a child, one is bigger than the other as they stand side by side, the left one arms raised, the other staring intently
Great meme format right here let's go Onfim
Onfim’s drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.
Two of Onfim’s works. On the left is a copy of a passage from the Book of Psalms he did for schoolwork. On the right is an apparently autobiographical depiction of a monster labeled with “I am a wild beast.”
Some more spelling practice by Onfim with some human figures who have round heads and varying numbers of fingers on their big hands.
Onfim’s writing practice accompanied by 7 little people in his particular drawing style, who tend to have very big hands with many fingers.
Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.
Imagine if the points deduction saves us from relegation… but results in Arsenal winning the league. Never going to happen but would be very Spursy.
