HMS Matabele torpedoed by U-Boat U454 while carrying out escort duties for Arctic Convoy PQ8 just off the Kola inlet January 1942. There were 2 survivors from a ships company of 238. The ship sank in 2 minutes with her depth charges detonating as she went down

Good News, our 41 year old Bedford sailed through her HGV MoT today. She was the same age as the MOT tester 🙂🙂
