We continue our #BlackHistoryMonth: Standing Firm in Power and Pride series by profiling Olive Morris, a South-London based activist who packed so much radical action into her life. Olive was a key member of the British Black Panther Movement, and went on to co-found the Brixton Black Women’s Group.

I was labelled the loud, black girl. If I had early intervention, it would have saved me from a lot. I just really needed the help at an early age.
