After all the campaign speculation we are seeing, eyes wide open, a bloodless coup overtaking the us government.
We need, especially the media, to start using language which accurately reflects what is happening. This is nothing short of a purge of any perceived enemy or opponent of Trump. Any student of history knows how this can end. Let's start calling it what it is - overthrowing democratic institutions.
If the media needs a guide right now, go back and look how reporters/editors/media companies covered the criminal President Nixon. Imagine if Katherine Graham had said we need to be quiet, we need to settle law suits. Go back and look at the clips, watch Walter Cronkite protect our democracy

The insider DC sheets keep running articles about Democrats bewailing Bidens pardon. I’m able to keep a pretty close tabs on the opinions of engaged Democrats via emails to TPM. And the actual opinion is overwhelmingly in favor of the decision. In fact, more or less universal support.
