Oh! He got around a barrier and stole a winter decoration that was to be put away, and absconded with it into the backyard. The poor snowman. Sigh.
Choffee is great! It's definitely the human buzz that I like at Starbucks - not paying a premium for okay coffee. (They do provide free refills if you're having your coffee there, tho - a policy I love to abuse ruthlessly.)

A bit of both. It's a bit too internal for the POV character and the dialogue is sporadic and uneven. But I think the purpose of the scene works well - I wasn't even sure diving in whether it was a usable scene. I'll take the partial win, no question... And I have a good editor!

Some days the writing just isn't good. I spent the afternoon grinding out 700 words and I don't even think it's very good. The ideas are fine but I suspect the scene will need a total rewrite.

It means strip tease performer. But it sure classes up the idea, doesn't it?
