I ca see a windmill from my English classroom. As you can see from this image taken from the school website, the surrounding view is devastated by it.

I second this - Finisterre have some great wetsuit-fabric-but-swimsuit-shape stuff too and while they’re ££ they’re lovely, and more environmentally friendly that the petrol products most wetsuits are made of..

Also - there are no women on it. You can’t blame a lack of empathy or insight re women on online only when the only ones they come across in English are Lady Macbeth or Mrs Crachitt brave in ribbons.

IMHO it’s the Gove curriculum. It’s like it’s designed to kill the joy of reading. You can get a 15 yr old boy to do mad things with narrative if you talk to them about gaming. I’m trying to work out how to study gaming + narrative to complete an MA. When they realise storytelling is storytelling 🤯

A highlight of the last seven days was your Brighton event with my son who decided to answer every question you had, shout suggestions about fish fingers and come up on stage - despite having been previously too shy to put his hand up about anything, ever!!
