What a day! A quick visit to beautiful Athens, the city where I spent so many summers of my youth. First time I visited the city in December and it was gorgeous weather. Enjoyed great Greek street food, wandered around Plaka and had a fantastic nameday! 🇬🇷

Dinner with Noel to celebrate his Golf Green Card! ⛳️ We went for tapas at Boqueria, courtesy of American Express — enjoying El Cordero lamb racks, Brocheta de Solomillo de Ternera, Ceviche y Gazpacho, Gambas al Pil-Pil, Pulpo a la Parilla, and Secreto de Ibérico. Every bite was bursting with flavor!
Indulged in perfection at Polonaise, Hilton Świnoujście Resort & Spa. A melt-in-your-mouth dry-aged ribeye followed by an exquisite beef tartare — pure fine dining at its best.

Sharing a midweek dinner out with Noel, and it couldn’t be more perfect — we started with Kalix bleak roe and a classic beef tartare, both absolutely sublime. Then came the steak frites, rare and flawlessly cooked. Moments like these make an ordinary Wednesday feel extraordinary.
I think that the burger I am holding best represents my recent trek to California: an In-n-Out burger, which is quite fitting seeing as I was there for just over 48 hrs before returning to Sweden. I enjoyed the company of great friends a lot, and the place, and the food! Can’t wait to be back!
Happy Spanakopita Day! It’s yet another fake holiday, but I can live with that. Simply delicious!
