I will write a book review when we have finished reading it
Today is World Book Day. I am reading Out of the Crisis by W. Edwards Deming with the Profound Book Club. It is a great book, full of ways to make quality a successful strategy, and it is great to read it with so many good people.

Thinking only of Rosalind Franklin today, and what was stolen from her (and so many other female scientists alongside her).
It took just 8 minutes for thieves to steal the Napoleonic-era crown jewels from the Louvre. There weren't enough cameras and the ones there were there were facing the wrong way.
Could a 50-year-old maths problem have foiled the heist?

Very well put!
Responsibility for quality rests with senior management. Is responsibility the same as ownership? If I feel ownership I care more, but I may not have the same level of control as senior management.
Thank you @jitgos.bsky.social for a great write up of the @sigist.bsky.social conference. It was great to catch up with you there. And thank you for your great presentation.

Yes, there should be training on how to create a collaborative environment.
Training for managers on this issue would be really helpful
The Tester magazine, from @sigist.bsky.social , always contains helpful information for testers.

I would say that it is soft issues that have slowed me down, and they are the most difficult to deal with! An example would be working in an environment where it is hard to cooperate with people because it is so competitive.
