We can only offer 3 places, and regret we are unable to cover travel, subsistence or childcare costs. We wish we could. And finally, the cottage is not wheelchair accessible, sorry.
If selected, you will be sharing the cottage with 2 other people. You will each have your own room. There are no desks in the room, the kitchen is a shared workspace. All weβll need from you afterwards will be a write-up of your time there to publish on our website and socials.
The application process is simple. We need your biography/CV and a 1 page cover letter outlining what you hope to do with the week of space to write, plan and/or create. This opportunity is for parents and carers only β please state in your application what your caring responsibilities are.

Weβve always said that we hoped we would be irrelevant after ten years of doing what we do, but the industry hasnβt yet changed enough to make us completely redundant. Hereβs to another 10 years, or not being needed even soonerπ₯.
π₯³π§‘π WE ARE TEN!!! π𧑠π₯³
10 years after our launch at the #CannesFilmFestival in May 2015, we are celebrating our double digits!! Weβve achieved a lot, and have learned even more with thanks to all of you. ππ§‘π

Our message to Keir Starmer is clear. Government must reconsider its welfare plans and #ProtectCarersBenefits.
Carers are facing an unprecedented cut to their incomes.
