I love my writing/critique group. Found them on threads, which I only had few a couple of months. It’s been best experience. We talk daily and everyone is always happy to give eyes to pages.

1. Exposure to a character’s difficult moment should build. We should be able to anticipate an intense scene.
2. Do not glorify a traumatic event. You can still write a villain as evil, w/o gruesome details.
3. The scene should be necessary for the storyline. Does it move the story forward?
