@guardtheleaf.bsky.social Hi GTL I saw this US website mentioned on a podcast www.resistandunsubscribe.com but wanted to share for anyone wanting to avoid US companies supporting π(I know weβre already avoiding products and using Canadian where we can)
@guardtheleaf.bsky.social dear GTL you might have had this from several sources (or you might not have seen it) passing it on just in case www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
@guardtheleaf.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/news/ng-inte... sending because it mentions Canadians have been travelling to Cuba.

@guardtheleaf.bsky.social www.kentucky.com/news/busines... donβt know if you saw this but the boycott is working
@guardtheleaf.bsky.social
@guardtheleaf.bsky.social www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... 1) I am never being let back in the US 2) this mentions the drop in Canadian tourism at the end.
@guardtheleaf.bsky.social www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... this is going to go down well with those still travelling to the US
βTwitter has already died. Muskβs financial charade is just the corporate equivalent of a weekend at Bernieβs and is a pathetic attempt to keep his fragile empire from imploding.β

Not only that Stephen Miller was determined Europe & Egypt were going to pay for the strikes one way or another
Going to be a LOT of European diplomats & politicians on the phones tonight after this conversation
JD Vance and Pete Hegseth badmouthing Europe thoughβ¦. Completely legit
And this conversation which includes trying to get Europe to pay for the operation one way or the other is probably causing a LOT of European phone calls right now
The comments on Europe will make Russia gleeful and suspect (if they havenβt been told already) the US would not honour NATO Article 5
If Russia knows (and I bet they do) that the US Administration considers Europeβfreeloadersβ and hates the idea of helping them then NATO Article 5 looks a lot less scary. Especially if you can charm the US to stay uninvolved
Based on this conversation we know the US is unlikely to join in with NATO
You know if you let the bully take your lunch money, theyβre just going to keep coming back for more
Iβm hoping Europe has a strong answer for this because at this rate every time the US starts bombing someone/something theyβre going to try to bill everyone else for itβ¦..
They are very clear they consider Europe to be freeloading from the US this doesnβt bode well for Ukraine or European diplomacy
#Fellas if you have time, take the time to read this, unedited comments from the US Government that they consider Europe to be freeloading off the US. Factor into plans accordingly

Wow. "The reason I knew this is that Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, had texted me the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing." www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
