Historian here history first time as tragedy the second time as farce.
People don't just attack Congress and attempt to violently overthrow the government as a lark. These are terrible people who committed crimes before and will keep right on committing crimes until stopped forcibly. We stopped them, but Trump threw open the prisons so they could commit more crimes.
