In Nov, 2023, I was hosted in Australia by friends from the Jewish community. I experienced generosity, solidarity, and humanity. To target a community in moments of prayer or celebration violates the most basic moral and human principles. Attacking the Jewish community anywhere is wrong. Full stop.

Nonviolent resistance isn’t only about marches. it’s also about changing the narrative and shifting public perception. Media focused actions, like Gandhi’s Salt March. So if you say the Sumud flotilla is a PR stunt—you’re right. It is a PR action, meant to draw attention to the starvation in Gaza.

Just watched Israeli President Herzog at Chatham House. Once seen as a leftist, pro-peace candidate when he led the Labor Party, he now sounds no different from Netanyahu or Ben Gvir. Yet the world still treats him as one of the “good guys.” Today, he comes across as a cheerleader for genocide.
We lose our humanity when we choose division, hate, & greed over connection & life-when we fight wars for power & false borders. The greatest existential threat isn’t a natural disaster, but us: when we choose violence, inequality, dehumanization & indifference. Let’s choose humanity and peace.
For years, US & European politicians refused to recognize a Palestinian state, empowering Netanyahu’s plan to turn the West Bank into concentration camps, displacing 3.5M Palestinians.
Blame is everywhere but the real question is: how do we respond & stop this crime from happening?
The writing was always on the wall: decades of violence and deaths are unsustainable. In 2022, 182 Palestinians & 22 Israelis were killed. Conflict management & stalemate only worsen the reality. We must reject the normalization of death, & work to end the occupation & siege through a just peace.
Extremists often dictate policy, shape governments, and commit war crimes, even without being the majority. To confront them, we must be action-oriented: setting clear benchmarks, reshaping governments policies. What matters is having a vision, driving change, and pushing to make that vision real.

On one hand, the U.S. is pressuring Brazil to end the prosecution of former President Bolsonaro, while on the other, it doesn’t have an opinion about war crimes and refuses to intervene as Israel continues to starve Gaza and plans to fully occupy it.
4/4 Our politicians talk about “peace”, but fund, defend, and legitimize extremists. We don’t need more politicians. We need leaders. Leaders who believe in justice over power, peace over selling weapons, and hope over hate. If they won’t be those leaders—we must be.
3/4 This violence backed by the Israeli government, police, & courts. Nothing in the media. Why? Because there’s no Hamas there to blame, so the violence gets erased.
Did Johnson meet with victims’ families? Visit Christian villages under attack? Speak to peacemakers? No. He choose settlements.
2/4 In just the first 6 months of 2025:
– 400+ settler attacks on Palestinians
– 40,000 people expelled from their homes
– Taybeh, a Palestinian Christian town, attacked multiple times
– A Palestinian American tortured and killed
– A peace activist murdered
– Israeli & Palestinian activists injured
1/4This week, Speaker Mike Johnson became the highest-ranking U.S. politician to visit and endorse Israeli settlements in the West Bank. So what exactly is the GOP leader supporting?
Don’t blame Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan if they sit out the election. If you skip a vote that matters to our community now, don’t expect support later. Saying you’ll “reassess” weapons to Israel during a genocide isn’t leadership—it’s complicity.
1. She has concerned about the starvation in Gaza—but remains silent on the killing of 20,000 children.
2. She says nothing about the use of American weapons to obliterate Gaza’s infrastructure.
3. She does not object to the targeted killings of journalists and healthcare workers.
You forgot Biden! Since Biden has supported actions many describe as genocidal, the ongoing efforts to portray him as a good president feel deeply absurd.
