Prima. Van het vroegere D66 (waarschijnlijk incl de periode onder Pechtold) zou je toch verwachten dat ze nu graag met GL-PvdA zouden willen regeren maar beslist niet graag met Yesilgöz. D66 van Jetten liet GL-PvdA heel makkelijk vallen en ziet 'kansen' bij Groep-Markuszower (ex-PVV'ers). Schande.

Ik zou zeggen dat D66 vroeger linksig was (zie bv Keerpunt 1972) en bovendien erken ik gradaties op rechts. Als je alles rechts ten opzichte van bv het socialisme (of ten opzichte van de toenmalige PvdA of de toenmalige CPN) één pot nat vindt, dan heb je natuurlijk geen boodschap aan die gradaties.

Okay, maar ik denk dat D66 eerst een leuke, inhoudelijk bevlogen fase had, vervolgens onder leiders als Terlouw, Wolffensperger, De Graaf en Dittrich elitair bleef in de goede zin (Kaag paste ook nog in die traditie) en daarna onder Ollongren en Jetten een volstrekt onbenullige partij is geworden.

D66 was vroeger een linksige, sociaal-liberale, enigszins intellectueel georiënteerde, modern-ruimdenkende partij. D66 was een van 'de progressieve drie' (PvdA, PPR, D66) en werd door Wiegel betiteld als een 'bijwagen' van de PvdA. Sinds 2017 is D66 een bijwagen van de verrechtste VVD.

Niet echt een teleurstelling overigens, want D66 was al een stuk naar rechts opgeschoven tijdens kabinetsformatie 2017 (ik vermoed onder invloed van Ollongren, die Ruttes rechterhand was geweest voordat ze overstapte naar de Amsterdamse politiek) en weer tijdens campagne 2025 onder Jetten zelf.

Mede daarom denk ik dat @evelienn.bsky.social gelijk heeft over Jetten ("Nu laat hij zijn echte kleuren zien. Nu hoeft hij geen wenselijke praatjes meer op te hangen.") en ik deel haar hoop ("dat hij genadeloos afgestraft wordt bij de volgende verkiezingen"). D66=VVD Lite, dat is nu toch duidelijk?

#D66 #Jetten doet niet moeilijk over:
-afschilderen door Yesilgöz van GL-PvdA als radicaal/extreem
-GL-PvdA buitensluiten
-kaltstellung informateur/ex-minister Wijers (D66; voorstander van brede coalitie incl GL-PvdA)
-het uitvoeren van Fabers asielwetten
-schending internationaal recht door Trump
