I love the thought of Cassius flubbing his lines and the awkward moment where Caligula realises he is about to be assassinated but also they both process what’s been said. The embarrassment
Learning that what I thought about Caligula wasn’t necessarily true. It’s thought that he wasn’t actually mad but rather a massive troll and dickhead to the senate. In fact his praetorian guard Cassius, was so mad from being constantly teased by him that he botched his cool line before stabbing him.
