Loco Motive is a good choice, I’ve never been the biggest fan of straight forward point and click adventure games, but the story of it definitely kept me going. Same for The Drifter and The Excavation of Hobbs Barrow.
I was such a fan of Blake Manor, I’ve been on a detective/ adventure game binge recently too. The Roottrees are Dead was a great time, the Golden Idol series has similar occult vibes, the Duck Detective games are silly and cute.
