Heartbreaking.
Last month, a Pennsylvania farmer rejected $15M from data center developers to sell his farmland.
Another in Wisconsin turned down $80M.
America's farmers and others across the country are pushing back on Big Tech.
This is what integrity looks like.
Why do we even have to say this??????
We are entering the βfalling out of windowsβ phase.

I really do think this is an excellent metaphor for the moment.
For those who missed the halftime show of the Turning Point USA, hereβs a recap.
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) β Alberto CastaΓ±eda MondragΓ³n says his memory was so jumbled after a beating by immigration officers that he initially could not remember he had a daughter and still struggles to recall treasured moments like the night he taught her to dance. But the violence he endured last month in Minnesota while being detained is seared into his battered brain. He remembers Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pulling him from a friendβs car on Jan. 8 outside a St. Paul shopping center and throwing him to the ground, handcuffing him, then punching him and striking his head with a steel baton. He remembers being dragged into an SUV and taken to a detention facility, where he said he was beaten again. He also remembers the emergency room and the intense pain from eight skull fractures and five life-threatening brain hemorrhages.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man βpurposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.β
What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldnβt remember he had a daughter.

I couldnβt love this beautiful couple any more than I already do. I miss their class, intelligence, eloquence and love in the White House now more than ever. π
NEW STORY: Trump admits he was the one who found the video and asked that it be posted from his Truth Social account. Refuses to apologize.
The guy that just had his goons seize ballots from the 2020 elections is asking us to get on to something else.
Hmm... how about no??

Tesla reported paying ZERO federal income tax on $5.7 billion of U.S. income in 2025.
Meanwhile, thanks to his new Tesla pay package, Elon Musk could stand to make $3 billion more per year than all 1.4 million elementary school teachers in the U.S. combined.
See the problem here?
I see we're at the "building monuments to myself" stage of fascism.
Michelle Obama used her role as FLOTUS to expand democracy & human dignity.
Melania Trump treated the role like an obligation to endure.
Integrity over cruelty.
Truth over noise.
Leadership over ego.

Even if you've watched it in the past, watch it again. I don't think it's broken the top 10 yet. We need this win.
This Black History Month remember:
β’Human trafficking was legal
β’Slavery was legal
β’Jim Crow was legal
β’US Government paying reparations to white enslavers & not to the enslaved was legal. Prison slavery is still legal.
The lesson: Do not let legality & power be a measure of morality & justice.
ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 β six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.
Holy cow
It's a great weekend to watch or rewatch Michelle Obama's Becoming on Netflix.
This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years.
These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.
Apparently our electricity bills are going through the roof and this is partly related to data centers that hog huge amounts of electricity to generate information. I, for one, feel hopping mad about this. The companies that are using the data centers should bear the cost.

Of course. Yes, obviously that's the objective.
It has been more than 30 days since the Department of Justice was required by federal law to make all of the Epstein Files public. According to the DOJβs own estimates, it has released less than 1% so far. The last time the Department of Justice released any documents was Dec. 23, 2025.
jaderemedy β’ 4h ago And now comes the most nauseating part of this whole goddamn mess: the hypocrisy. The same loud-mouthed idiots who spent years screaming about tyranny are suddenly dead fucking silent, or worse, cheering, now that it's their side doing it. "ThEy'Re cOminG fOr OuR gUnS!" "GoVerNMenT oVerReAch!" "ShAll nOt bE inFrinGeD!" All that chest-thumping bullshit evaporated the second armed federal agents started terrorizing people they don't like. Let me get this straight: a civilian gets shot dead by federal agents, and the only thing you brainless cunts can muster is "well, DHS says he had a gun"? THAT'S your red line? Guns are sacred when they're strapped to your waist, but magically become a death sentence when they're used as a post-hoc excuse by the government? Either the Second Amendment applies to everyone, or you never believed in it at all. Fucking pick one and own it. This is exactly what tyranny looks like, by the way. Not jackboots marching in formation, but armed agents roaming neighborhoods, stopping people, killing civilians, and then daring the public to question it. Tyranny is execution followed by a press release. Tyranny is labeling the dead a "threat" so the state doesn't have to explain why someone's life just ended in the street. Tyranny is demanding obedience while shredding due process and calling it order. And all you so-called "freedom lovers" are fucking fine with it, as long as it's brown people, immigrants, protesters, or anyone you've already dehumanized. Turns out "don't tread on me" actually meant "tread on them." You weren't afraid of tyranny. You were afraid of losing dominance. There's a difference, and this moment exposes it completely. "Just comply" isn't a principle. It's cowardice dressed up as common sense. It's the language of people who have already accepted that the state gets to decide who deserves rights and who doesn't. And once you make that deal, don't act shocked when the line moves, because it always fuckinβ¦

So important. What they say is not the story. That is never the story. What happened is the story. Write what happened.
