Federal Court Rules In Favor of Forcibly Detransitioning Transgender Inmates In Florida Incarcerated transgender people were a major topic of debate in the 2024 elections. Now, a judge ruling on a Florida policy shows how cruel abandoning trans people in prison can be.

A federal court has ruled that Florida can detransition inmates.

Some trans inmates are having estrogen pulled, hair shorn, and put through state-run conversion therapy.

This is the cruelty of abandoning incarcerated trans people.

The subject matter is a shabari rope tie that features 2 sets of hands. One set is tying the rope, while the other set is bound. The person with the bound hands is laying on their back with their arms over head, their hands in a prayer position, with the rope tied under their wrists. Only the hands of the person tying the rope are visible because they are wearing a long black sleeved shirt. It looks like their hands are tying the rope while floating against the black background. Their are two leading tie points coming from the bound wrists. One leading towards the top right, with the hands tying pulling down on it. The other leading rop anchor is horizontally to the right side, with the other tying hand reaching to grab it.

I learned that a Subaru Outback has at least 4 "convenient tie-down hooks." Each one has a maximum load capacity of 110lbs (50 kg for my non US friends), which comes in handy when securing cargo with ropes 👀
