Yes, I had that but it was disappointing as it was edited down and too long on each side. The 31' Space Truckin is incendiary 👍 the double remaster is excellent but you still have a long side 4... The band are on fire here, esp Paice 🥁 and Blackmore 🎸

A fantastic cover of the #ElvisCostello song. I have this picture sleeve 7" single.

The lap steel solo in 'High Hopes' from the Division Bell gets me every time.. when he hits that high upward note I have to turn it up 🎸

Still one of the most out there albums of musicianship 👏 I first heard it in late 72 when the owner of a record shop in Bideford let me borrow the cassette to listen to.. it was above my head on first listen but I persevered to discover a new world of music 🎶🎸🎹🥁

Yes, the vaults are empty with so many artists. Mono mixes and single edits are pretty pointless except for completing, but even that is hard to justify.
I'm also no fan of instrumental versions of albums as a bonus disc. Never play them

It is a nice box set. Especially if you don't have any of it. But how many copies of Rainbow Rising do I need, as great as it is. Record companies keep rehashing releases of bands I love in multi sets with extra tracks and live shows. But it's expensive to keep up with it.

They are an amazing prog supergroup. I was into all 4 groups prior to their formation. Agree on those two albums but love SMPTe. I remember the excitement when it came out and blew me away. I saw them 6 times, firstly in Nov 2001 and each tour after that until the final tour in July 2022

I love that first album. Especially 'Catch the Rainbow'. You say budget box, but £65 is not that that cheap. I've read reviews saying the live shows were only released in Japan. But they were released here in Europe as I have the three double CD sets. Great shows. I saw them on that tour too.

Glasgow will be excellent.. 16times is impressive 👌 this will be 7 for me, but I did see 78 once on Farewell to Kings tour and 79 twice. It was hard after those as always travelling for them and not in Bristol

Mine was a numeric text mistake, should be 2004, not 14. Sadly, I never saw them in 2013 on the UK Clockwork Angels tour. Just thought I see them next time, then sadly Neil passed away 🙏
