I'm starting to lose hope that my dream of a US Taskmaster with Jon Hamm as the TM and you as the TMA will ever come to fruition. I could use a little pep talk to help me keep the dream alive!

Thank you YouTube for adding the automatic "Jumping over commonly skipped sections" that you can't opt out of. Starting a Taskmaster episode by simply pressing +10s 3 times to skip the theme was way too easy.

I'm putting my Ratings Reputation on the line by giving this a full 5 stars before the 1st episode is even released...Don't make me a liar Mr. Watson 🙂

I never thought there would be a Taskmaster contestant whose name Greg seems to genuinely enjoys saying more than "Rose Matafeo", but he sure does make a meal out of "Ania Magliano" every time. Cracks me up.

After watching this week's Taskmaster, I really need to see what kind of release they have to sign. At least 2 contestants almost pulled a Knappett during the live task, and I thought for sure poor Maisie broke her nose.

Absolute hilarious chaos...and Alex's deadpan response afterwards was perfect.

I also considered John Mulaney and Anthony Jeselnik for the comedian TM for very different reasons...

And yes, I know Cera is Canadian...I think Hamm and Cera could have a lot of fun playing off that dynamic.

If the US ever gives Taskmaster another go (which they should), the best options I could come up with for TM and TMA are:

Big name actor route:

Comedian route:

Thank you! I knew I recognized him from something else but couldn't place it...it was from watching Inside No. 9 to get ready for Series 17.

On a side note, I had planned on just watching an episode or 2 to get a feel for Steve and ended up watching the whole dang series. Great show.

As an American, whenever a new cast gets announced I've gotten in the habit of scouring YouTube/BritBox/etc trying to figure out who these people are. Since I'm sure I'm not the only one, this year I decided to take a few notes for anyone else who may be in the same boat.

Fellow Taskmaster fans! Since we now have an official premiere date (yay!), I figured it was a good time to send this back out. Hopefully a few of you find it helpful to start getting prepared/excited for the new season :-)
