The team sent out a tweet highlighting its "multiple free COVID-19 vaccine events" moments after placing 10 unvaccinated players on the restricted list prior to the team's game in Toronto. Andrew Benintendi is among the biggest names to miss the road trip to Toronto. He and nine other players, including Hunter Dozier, Brad Keller and Whit Merrifield, hit the restricted list Thursday. Under that announcement, the Royals touted their commitment to educating the public about the viability of vaccines. It was a not-so-subtle shot at those on the team who refuse to get the shot.

I took our cat to the basement with food and litter when the first round rolled through, and he’s still there. We’re finally getting some rain and storm here. I had trouble catching him Friday night, and didn’t want a repeat.
