I'm really liking the Yiga clan guys disguised as travelers I keep running into. I think I fall for it every time. The conversation starts getting suspicious and I am like oh wait I bet this guy is a Yiga... and yeah.
It's weird that this post earned blocks. Games people are very sensitive about this.
Dogs and cats are very popular as pets, but people really overlook how affectionate hornets can be. With no training at all, they come right out of the nest to greet you tails wagging.
Then why didn't this happen while her and Biden were in office?
One little discussed side effect that I hope disappears with Kristi Noem is Gnome slander. Gnomes are those awesome little guys you see in your garden when you are tripping on mushrooms. Noem is kind of the opposite. The difference is very important.
I hope they washed their hands afterward.
If a system largely gets out of your way and just provides fun widgets when desired that is actually good and not a sign of bad "shrinking violet" design.
I'm so so glad Michelle Obama will never run for President because then I'll never have to watch people across the political spectrum search their colons for reasons they "just can't" pull the lever for her.

This is the way.
Yes, ICE and ISIS sound the same, but they are different. They are state-sponsored terrorists sponsored by different states.
The desired outcome is a perfectly compliant Nerd-in-a-cage. Like a Djinn.
I think we underestimate how frustrating it was to consistently have the smart people they rely upon tell them their actions are short-sighted and immoral. The AI has no such drawback, at least if they apply enough pressure.
I've noticed the right is far more eager to embrace AI than the left, for example the recent Trump admin pressure on AI companies to aid them in war crimes and mass surveillance. It is obvious they see it as a way to emulate a smart guy who doesn't tell them they shouldn't do what they want.

TTRPG Discourse (any)
An early homebrew system one of my old gaming groups drew up had Attributes of Perception, Endurance, Nimbleness, Intelligence, and Strength. Asking if we played with it is rude.
Autistic nerd reality check: have you REALLY discovered a hidden connection no-one else will see, or have you simply taken a word and broadened its definition via technicalities and edge cases until it's ceased to describe anything at all, then mistaken that lack of descriptive power for insight?

Actually a cogent answer. She did it because she knew there would be no consequences. Decent people are too weak to apply them.
Yeah, there are a lot of people I agree with but wince when I hear them say it.
The thing about Walter Sobchaking about rules and authorial intent in RPGs is that Sobchak was not fun to bowl with.
My fart or flart instincts are very well tuned.
Good idea, I recall the Realms of Chaos books had great lists of random mutations that players might not realize are random.
The reason I say that it is difficult to translate is that in D&D and such, they already know what monsters they might be transforming into. Any mutation is a sign that can be interpreted. But in this show there is no real way to guess for the characters. The ignorance is tense.
