nodding. I felt like that part was weird and questionable but I personally enjoyed the ending otherwise so it didn't really sour the whole thing

-I enjoyed the characters (despite half the cast not getting an appropriate amount of screentime). idk I think that having a decent concept for a character and kinda just. not really doing anything with them is better than totally butchering their arc -given that they had to go a different direction with the plot because of covid it didn't feel as jarring as I was led to believe?? people talked about it as if the shift was abrupt but it felt fairly natural, all things considered. maybe a bit rushed ofc but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as like. all the mischaracterization that was happening in the last third of hibiki 😭 -as messy as it is I liked all of the father-son parallels between multiple characters. stuff about forging your own identity and freeing yourself from the expectations of those that raised you appeals to me x)

-I still feel that the buildup to horobi's arc was barely there but I like where he ended up -jin :] -I know I posted about fuwa the most but I think izu was actually my fav lol -also I realized later that ms yaiba probably worked for zaia initially because she believed in their purpose and then gai just stripped that all away and she became disillusioned but couldn't do anything about it bc of the chip. I think I wish that was made a tiny bit more obvious, plus there was that line she said about her situation being complicated that she never elaborated on -if YOU 🫵 like absolutely fucked up character dynamics and robots struggling to learn from humanity's mistakes and toxic yuri then you may also like 1000xRESIST :)
