"Deliquescence" is a lovely word with a delightfully unlovely meaning. But "spleen" is just plain fun to say.

A tarot card illustration with an art nouveau frame, ornate silver filigree. A person from the mouth, down to about mid chest is depicted, holding a rose and pressing a finger into a thorn. Their hair is thrown over one shoulder. The bottom of the card says "Ace of Thorns"
A black and white title page that has a line drawing of an open garden gate, covered with ornate swooping leaves. The top of the gat has a bat and moon motif in curled filigree. In a blank space in the middle, it says "Tales From The Night Garden, Vol. 1, Lemon Balm, Artemis Quinn and Auden Eris-Everen"
A book on a dark green background with silver filigree bats. It says: Lemon Balm. In a purple square it says, Synopsis: Cypress Borne is 22 years old, a dashing young non-binary lad with a fairly easy life in New York City. That is-- fairly easy until their routine is interrupted by a vicious dog attack on the way home from the gym. Their life turns upside down after that one singular event-- blackouts, unexplained fits of rage and lost time plague him. Two years of medical tests, therapy, and a life that's spiraling down the toilet later, they navigate their way through the panic attacks and the hopelessness to an old, derelict, and a seemingly abandoned church in the woods, away from the noise and the people. Little do they know, the church isn't abandoned but rather occupied by a vampire hoping to die and rotting in a coffin. Acanthus Sylene believes that a fine wine should never have an age attached, and neither should a fine being. Nonbinary in such a way that gender is completely irrelevant, Acanthus has lived a very long life and is frankly exhausted by it. Embroiled deeply into the politics of the World of Shadows, they have abandoned their duties to The Night Garden, a refugee path that they forged. But, something changes when a lost, scared, ignorant werewolf shows up on their door step. Both of these preternatural beings are looking for answers. Somehow, instead of finding their place in the world, they find each other. However, in the process of finding and growing with each other, they may have put their entire lives-- and The Night Garden-- at risk.
A painting of a pale woman vampire standing in front of a window and a red curtain. She has long, pointy ears and curved fangs, glaring out of the window. It has a bright light coming through the darkness, illuminating her face. There's a crack in the lower right pane.

One of my favorite dinosaurs!
An old dwarf living in a tower? An upright tower, not an inverted one burrowing into the earth, as it would be customary for dwarves? Wow, he must really love fresh air!

The trouble with "human authored" stickers is that the AI shills will use them. Those who've displayed zero morality when it comes to theft won't start now.
Best way is to ban AI usage in the arts entirely.

You know what films don't appeal to me?
Those from a studio whose executives decided that my life doesn't appeal to people.
Fuck Disney and its spineless, soulless subordinates.
We have one cat who, apparently offended that the door might block her view, will come up from outside the bathroom and push it all the way open (the latch is unreliable at best) and then saunter away, her work complete.
Text: Also, y'all missed English lunch during which [student] corrected Kerry for saying octopuses instead of octopi, and it was like Kerry had been training her whole life for a student to make that mistake. Total lay-up, and my favorite part of the day. Merriam-Webster Merriam-Webster O @MerriamWebster Happy World Octopus Day! octopi = from the belief that words of Latin origin should have Latin endings octopuses = an English ending to match its adoption as an English words octopodes = from the belief that bc 'octopus' is originally Greek, it should have a Greek ending

The stage musical "Grease" is a brilliant sendup of a whole genre of vapid 1950s "good girl reforms bad boy" movies, with a love letter to doo-wop and other musical styles of the era.
The movie keeps the bare bones but drops the sendup and the period music to churn out a pop-music star vehicle.

"Randomized trials are rare in management research. When they confirm what observational data already suggest, leaders should take note. ...the message to executives in any sector is straightforward: When flexibility is codified and measured, it becomes a dependable lever for organizational health."

She glanced past the destruction, out the very window that ended one story and began another. Through the smoke and flame, morning blossomed on the horizon. And, in the sunlight, breaking through the usual dreary gray, a butterfly danced across the sky.
