I somehow ended up with covid. 😭

I'm on the mend, and I feel no guilt for taking my earned sick time to rest.

Luckily my job doesn't make me feel bad for doing so, but it's a common theme in the US.

By some dog juju miracle Pete's heart disease is just age related and minor. No meds and follow up in 9 months unless anything changes.

At the dogs' bi-annual vet visits on Tuesday I learned that Pete now has a heart murmur too.

By some good dog juju I was able to get him in for an echocardiogram today - please cross all paws and fingers that it's mild. He has a needed dental soon so we're doing this now to ensure it's safe.

Pete loves to curl up in my leg/butt. I fart and he doesn't even move - what a weirdo

Massachusetts (New England in general) is like this but in a much closer proximity - for example, my dogs' veterinarian is less than a minute away from the oldest maintained cemetery in the US (Myles Standish in Duxbury)
