Knda odd that this notion - Trump as corporate power skeptic - got serious debate. At best, there were some Repub antimonoplist elements that faced a long, uphill slog against the money and power of Big Business and Wall Street. With no institutional or popular base among MAGA Reps, they failed.
I'm thinking the German Social Democrats, circa 1933, would have viewed funding governmenet-sanctioned stormtroopers ... skeptically.
