My 'meet the artist' art. Icarus is kind of my muse, my good dude, no way about it (look at my account name); I obsessively seek content with him of any kind--any imagining i can get my hands on, and I was going to contact you about maybe if you would allow my partner and I to make an animatic with some of your music once I was more ready to start that leg of this journey (cool to veto if that time ever comes)--but this seemed like... I dunno. Providence? I promise I'm not spam. Just weird. And autistic. And awkward. And too honest. And sometimes overly formal. And I have hyper fixated on this EP. My partner and I were listening to 'Icarus & Apollo I', singing along when he said 'do you think they're on bluesky?' and he found this post and sent it to me. I'm trying to put myself out there. I always wanted to be an artist, and you're one of two artists I stumbled over early this year that lit my fire. I haven't hyperfixated on anything in YEARS, bro. The other is "alligator-blood" for their Cult of the Lamb comics. If you wanted a little, uh, validity to the statement. Inspiration is a funny thing; you both helped propel me to want to share my art, but in wildly different ways and for wildly different reasons. And there's no charge. If you do like my work, I won't ask for money if that helps prove anything. You don't owe me anything if you choose me, I really do want to do it for you if I can; to be an artist supporting another artist that inspired them. AND I WILL PUT THAT IN WRITING if you need. Something to give you like--ease that I wouldn't come back demanding a royalty or whatever. Um... not sure how else to prove my lack of... bot... ness...though. Hope this is enough!! 🪽

OH NO I'm just autistic!! OK limited words so: it was foundational in inspiring the story that made me want to start making art again. I obsessively consume anything with icarus in it because he's my mythological muse and the song 'Wait and See' reminds me of being a kid. (more text on photo)
