One thing about me is that I will fight Nazis until I’m six feet in the ground.
The world is a shit show right now, but I made a near perfect loaf of sourdough bread yesterday. So, there’s that.
Lessons from some past years have included “get it on writing” and “boundaries.” The lesson usually crystallizes sometime in January.
I think the lesson I learned from 2024 was to stand up for myself the way I stand up for my people, my friends and family. It only took forty-five years, but I finally learned that I am my people.
Same here. I never “got” twitter so I’m not entirely sure how to interact in this space. That said, I think it’s what we make it into.
I’m so happy with it! And, even better, I starting writing and drawing in it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets/makes something pretty and then it just sits there. I had a whole conversation with my friend while we were making books that we need to remember that they aren’t sacred.

I made a book this week. I had printed the cover art this fall.
