it’s really 🆒 to see EZM brought up in places like this. it seems established as part of zine making! like you can do zines this way or this way or use ezm or this way~🆒
tangentially… sometimes it feels like the nice internet is over, and now you just get tiny pockets of nice, in contrast to the default which is largely nasty.
i know i don’t use it anymore but it’s actually nice to open “the website formerly known as twitter” and see kind comments about your new game… instead of the usual misgendering and slurs that greet you as soon as you log in.

Just the sheer enthusiasm of someone remembering a stupid little game from their childhood and noticing that nobody else has talked about it so they NEED to show it off to the world is something I vibe with so hard.

--like the last harassment wave that came at me was from altright youtuber gamer defending Steam. that culture is dated and will never change. if this is so entrenched there, and that's just the culture u gotta accept if ur there, i struggle with if my work should even be on Steam...but i gotta try.

thank u! i totally understand too. i’ve avoided it since the beginning of me getting into games and only recently started taking it more serious. because of that i have a good thing going on itch and stuff… tho rn i want to try being serious abt Steam. at least then i’ll know for sure!
i’m not sure. the verdict is still out on Steam. itch got incomparably larger numbers than steam did for this, especially because i got featured on itch.
i actually wouldn’t mind more (lots?) views on the Steam one so i could answer if its good or bad to get noticed there lol.
