7's DLC is quite fun tbf, but 8's is preeeeetty mid. Even the Mercenaries mode attempt was like, okay, but not great.
Yeah, either way, 7 and 8 (and 3 remake) are basically the only modern RE games that I haven't replayed, and I think replayability is important in a series with games that are usually quite short

This is actually really tough for me because I love how unashamedly gamey and silly it is, but I don't care for Ethan and the areas outside of the castle aren't as good. I think I prefer it to 7 honestly, but if Capcom starts pretending they didn't happen I won't be too upset.

Buddy, I stood in there and counted. It takes 8:30 to drop 115 infected, not in body bags, and it does NOT give you the doll. 15 minutes does, almost double the number of infected. The method for unlocking the doll makes no sense, even now.
