Officials will stop releasing migrants who cross the border illegally into the United States, even if they are seeking asylum. Trump officials will restore Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, which requires migrants to await asylum hearings in Mexico.
The incoming Trump administration said it will issue 10 executive orders regarding the border on Monday.
