Mark Zuckerberg sits on the front row of a fashion show. He is a pasty, sweaty awkward looking beacon a sea of chic people.
Do you have a favourite embarrassing, unflattering, or unhinged image, gif or quote from a tech overlord?
Please can you share it with me? It's for A Thing. The more cringe the better.

A plastic seed tray and cover, filled with little coir seed pellets wrapped in paper
Four seeds in the palm of my hand, they are bean-shaped, very dark purple with pink speckles.
Seeds planted: nigella, cornflower, nasturtium, calendula, chamomile, borage, California poppy, sweet peas, stocks, and scarlet runner beans (the prettiest seeds ever?)

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You IS NOT THE ONE if you are a fellow overwhelmed carer. Very good, but way too close to the bone. Seeing all the worst aspects of yourself and your life on screen for 2 hours is not a great way to unwind π«

How to do a website content audit | Lauren Pope: La Pope Ltd
A practical guide to website content audits. Choose your approach, measure quality, and turn findings into actionable improvements.
I've been working on a big refresh on my resources on content audits. I first published these in 2022 - only 3 years ago - but my approach has evolved a fair bit in that time. Plus there's so many tools out there now saying that they can do the whole thing for you. lapope.com/2026/02/20/h...

Diary studies and making cords | Lauren Pope: La Pope Ltd
The power of diary studies and learning to make natural cordage.
Trying to get back into weeknotes again: lapope.com/2026/02/20/d...
I fid it very useful, but lost the habit when I got a concussion last year and didn't manage to pick it back up again until now.

Three strands of cord in varying widths and shades, lying on a cutting mat.
Today I went to a workshop and learnt to make cordage from rushes and raffia today. I am obsessed. I am going to make so many friendship bracelets. Can't wait to try nettles and dandelions in the summer when the stems get long enough.

Yes - lots of herbs. A couple of different mints, sage, basil, rosemary, hyssop, mullein, oregano...

This is the real "data driven" corporate culture: as long as you have pie charts and make the right mouth noises, the actual data is just window dressing.

I'm in my first year of having a 'garden' (patio with containers). Watching plants that I was 100% sure were dead all winter show signs of new life is a genuine thrill. Like: what do you mean that clematis that looked like a sad pile of twigs now has a little green shoot on it?!

Up to the letter C in the Olympic opening ceremony. So far Czechia have the best outfits, closely followed by the Canadians' maple leaf puffy ponchos. China's is the worst.
