And “nessasarily”
And “nessasarily”
I have always felt that, as long as university boards and administrations remain full of old, white men they will be far more conservative than what many loud voices have claimed for decades.
Ugh this is a big pet peeve of mine! The loudness of any given speaker’s voice doesn’t guarantee that everyone can hear them! 20 years ago my school installed audio enhancement systems in every classroom and it took years to convince all of the teachers to actually utilize it.
They plugged into the armrest right in the same spot as the ashtrays were not that much longer ago.
I think the actual quote was, “ich bin ein kernliner.”
Don’t worry, they’ll figure out a way to gerrymander so that only the highest cost for-profit plans can actually vote 😏
I feel like I’m a pretty “great Googler” too. Maybe I can get work as an expert witness also?
They’ll make it up in volume….
@thinink.bsky.social does a lot of excellent work in this area.
I’d gladly take a do-over if we could go back to those days.
Such a very sweet and kind friend for sure.
So many of his “policy” (which is a generous use of that word, since it implies that there is thoughtful planning before implementation) decisions are reversed that I feel like I’m watching a macabre tennis match.
This ordinary North American suburb has mass transit ridership that's off the charts. Here's how the city got residents to ride the bus.
🤔🤔🤔🤔 infrared? So I could see heat values?
There’s a footnote (added today, March 18) on the website article that mentions a correction to that misstatement in the original article.
The image shows a young woman with long brown hair wearing a white cap and a protective face mask. The background is neutral gray. White text reads “5 dangerous pollutants” with a subtitle “we breathe in every day and their consequences.” The UN Environment Programme logo is in the top right corner.
Breathe in, breathe out: every breath we take might be filled with invisible threats.
UNEP’s Pollution Action Note shows the global state of air pollution, major sources, the impact on human health, and national efforts to #BeatAirPollution.

If it’s metric then I believe that’s a shit-tonne?
Good for you, I still keep my (one) Twitter account but only because there are lots of informative accounts that haven’t yet migrated to another platform. And lots of international accounts that I don’t want to lose connection with.

There is a widespread outbreak of #norovirus, a GI virus that causes projectile vomiting & profuse diarrhea usually lasting 24-48 hrs. Wastewater levels nationwide in 🇺🇸 are high. It’s miserable & incredibly contagious. So many friends are texting SOS, so here’s a 🧵. /1

Uh oh I hope you didn’t discover that while you were driving somewhere!!
I also create folders (and sometimes nested folders within them) to file away emails after I’ve read them and taken any needed action. My goal is to really reach “inbox zero” although I rarely do! I don’t like it if I have to scroll down and down to see emails.
I send any emails that have the word “unsubscribe” anywhere in the text to a separate folder that has everything from a mailing list. That way I can still read them when I have the time, but they’re usually not very urgent.
I love your enthusiasm for helping others, especially younger people, to grow in their learning journey!!!
Are you taking reservations?!
Five followers and counting 😏 It probably took me even longer way back in the old days on Twitter.
You are a HUGE advocate for young people growing to love learning!!
Hello new world.
