In their defense, I haven't read the book but I knew the twist before the movie was even announced. So maybe they're right that the target audience already knows the story.

I saw an interview with I think one of the directors who was, like, we didn't want to, but the ad people said there was no other way the movie was going to sell.

The college campus not from from my house has a Sammartino Hall and I'm always bummed when I remember it's not Bruno Sammartino.

Every time I get to the grocery store early I'm there getting in the way of all the stocking and cleaning crew.

When I was younger the only way to get Dr Who in the New York area was on UHF stations. (All broadcast TV is UHF now.) I had to try to tune in these hard-to-get channels and record to VHS.

I know things are better now but I miss the feeling I had when this was secret, hard to find knowledge.

For a while I had BBC America through Amazon and was watching there. I had started a rewatch with Pertwee and then ran out of steam. Then one day I realized I didn't want to spend extra money any more.

I didn't know that!

But they wanted to start the program all over again. Second Skeleton: If only someone could've worked out a deal with them, a kind of nuclear deal....

I wrestled with it for hours. Why do I even have Plex if not to just put something on whenever? I also discovered I was missing an episode here, an episode there. More...acquisitions required. Dang it.

Still haven't watched anything. But I will!

Seeing these posts regularly made me want to watch some old episodes, so I went to my Plex server to put one on, only to discover that Plex had gotten totally confused and lost a bunch of episodes I'd...acquired...and wouldn't play them.
