Weird year for GDC. Antedcotally there's WAY more sponsored talks, and almost 1 out of every 3 of those are LLM focused. Rooms are full as soon as the doors are open, I was 30+ minutes early for a talk this morning and there was no way I was getting in

anyway, this project remains a "fun" challenge of getting to hit a lot of places in Unreal I haven't touched ever or for a while.

Splitscreen is going pretty smoothly so far, but I wanted to work on transitions from splitscreen to single screen and back.

Let's just say... some work better than others

my "away from home" laptop has a similar situation - depending on the exact specs there are some companies that have 3rd party chargers that might cut that weight in half - I use a SlimQ and it's pricey but it's held up admirably for years
