Totally. Though, I do get the frustration with how we talk about it, I’m not gonna pretend that the occasional shitty delulu, terminally online blue hair is as bad as people wearing war bonnets at Coachella.
I think something else that didn’t get brought up but is important is the extractiveness of it. You see this a lot with indigenous craft that gets picked up by high fashion designers and then commodified, all while giving nothing back to the people those designs come from.
