Yes
Oooooooh
This isn't even an insult
You could also use vertical curves using a sag curve (right side up parabola) into a crest curve (upside down parabola) and you would end up with the same distance, BUT there are requirements to the minimum length of a curve so it would actually go even longer. (Reposted to be a reply to myself)
That's pretty accurate. The grade change would be instantaneous but would only be 1.3% (at a design speed of 30mph, less if higher). So to get up to a curb height of 6" you need 38 ft to get to the crosswalk, then the crosswalk width, then 38 feet to get back down.
I sought the knowledge of the gods and found only highway standards. Mankind's hubris is inevitable.
Play on the "slaps roof of car" meme Slaps side of Australian cattle dog You can fit so many treats in this good boy
I can offer some insight here. Basically if you look at the state aid manual, it says that all vertical profiles should follow AASHTO GDHS, which lays out maximum grade breaks without a vertical curve. Since the minimum state aid speed is 30mph, you would end up with an ~85' long raised crossing.
The one thing that makes NE feel less distant than St Paul is that there are four all ages bike bridges to get to NE without a hill, but to get to St Paul there's really only Franklin and a giant hill on the other side. Plus a bunch of freeways and railroads that make biking sketchier.
Doctors (ICE supporting) hate this!
Fuck.
Beat me to the "hell yeah" lol
My 65 lb dog is afraid of these cats and they know it and choose to taunt him.
They just opened up earlier this year and they slap so hard. Also are open late

Yeah I was at this session too and the concept confuses me. But it's this idea that leads to Hiawatha's and University's being primary transit corridors.
It's surprising for sure! And the heads up display when actually navigating is good too. It differentiates into busy roads (with bike lanes or without bike lanes), protected bike paths, and residential streets. It doesn't break protected paths into specific facility types though

Did you check the contract? On page 67 it usually provides language explicitly saying that losses of thought experiments are not the liability of the insurer.
Men only want one thing and it's fucking disgusting (winter cycling)
