Sage nodded to himself, darting around yet another tree branch that threatened to hit him in the face. That's how it would go. He couldn't have been gone for that long. It was easy enough to verify his theory. Sage dimmed the magic light for a moment, squinting up at the stars between the tree branches. From the position of the moon and the constellations, he could make the rough guesstimate that it was currently— Two in the morning. Ah. So much for that hypothesis.
