I’m attempting to stay off site too, and not refresh like mad. lol I’m kind of lost when I can’t sit here and poke at it.

Finally! Surgery tomorrow morning. I know it’s going to take a while for the recovery but at least we are moving towards it. This has been a terribly long and painful process. So today I’m hanging out with these two.

Finally getting somewhere with my arm/hand. Waiting for a call from the surgery scheduler, but of course I have to wait for pre-approval from the insurance company. In the meantime, here’s a butterfly from last summer.

Woke up this morning and saw a text from my friend who texts every morning. Except it wasn’t from her. It was a message from her daughter that she had passed away last night, without warning. I can’t wrap my head around it. Hug your loved ones. RIP Bonnie. ❤️

My local compounding pharmacy does meat flavored meds for our kitties’ meds. It’s a bit out of the way to go get the meds, but it’s well worth it.

Been driving around in ridiculous weather for doctor appointments. Hand surgeon did a Cortizone shot today that is already helping. Have to go back Friday for an EMG. I can’t wait until I can stop hyperventilating over riding on these horrible, icy roads.

Life sucks right now. Waited 3 weeks for an MRI of my hand. Did that Tuesday. Excruciating. Got a call yesterday morning to come back for more. Did that. Got another call this morning. Now I need an x-ray which no one told me about. I’m never going to get fixed. 😭 Thank goodness for these two.

She is fascinated with Star Trek. lol

Is it Spring yet? Sigh. Still more than a week until my MRI, and I’m just not in a good place. 🙁 Fortunately I have one of these to help me feel a bit better.

Since the Jeep was totaled, we didn’t have any way to get a Christmas tree home (plus, we spent a fair amount of time hurting and not feeling well). My husband presented me with this today. lol

According to Politifact and other sources, there is no evidence of any such payments. I hate the guy as much as anyone, but I think we all need to check before we post/repost things.

It breaks my heart every time I see her and the fact that no one will take her makes me incredibly sad. I really wish I were in a position to do so. Thank you so much for trying so hard to get this poor baby a forever home.
