i love milleuda she's one of my favorite characters in tactics and even though i wish a million times there was a way to recruit her, i 100% understand why she decided she was either going to kill this nepo baby or die trying
imagine being cast aside by the kingdom you risked your life fighting in a pointless war for and being branded as a terrorist for demanding equal treatment only to meet some random noble kid who goes "oh shit that sucks let me talk to my homie the duke maybe he can help end class oppression π"
as much as i hate asking for donations, the circumstances behind this particular series of expenses has been annoying and frustrating and while it shouldn't gravely impact the timing on my commissions, it's left me a little demoralized. i'd appreciate any spare dollar chucked at my digital tin can!
hello! due to some poor advice from the previous doctor i was seeing, not only has my ear infection returned,it's eaten away at about 40-50% of my eardrum. i've finally gotten some proper treatment and on the path to recovery, but the sudden expenses have been a bit of a shock to the system
i don't ever have to touch another one of these damn things for the rest of my life
i did it i'm winner
am i really going to spend another 10 hours just grinding out the JP needed to master the rest of these jobs just so i can get the final achievement? probably. maybe i can say i'm doing it for myself when i'm spending the next half hour making frogs fight to the death in mandalia plains

and honestly i've spent so much of my time singing final fantasy tactics and XII's praises that, sure, yeah, i'll accept whatever yasumi matsuno decides is definitively canon now. Ivalice Chronicles is a perfectly fine way for someone who's never touched Tactics before to experience it.
still one million thoughts about ivalice chronicles and what it means to amend certain narrative decisions made almost 30 years ago. there's so much in the remastered ending that screams "oh yeah this probably wasn't very clear, let me add some throwaway lines to fix it" that almost borders parody
and the team that did War of the Lions did exactly that with Reis and Beowulf! if Yasumi Matsuno and his team didn't entirely agree with that direction for them, this was a prime opportunity to respond with their own definitive take on that quest. instead... Folmarv talks your ear off mid-battle.
i still think what you actually get from the game considering it's a remaster years in the making is a little lacking. so many of the lore dumps Folmarv gives about the optional characters could've been entire sidequests that gradually work in arcs that span over several missions.
my very late Ivalice Chronicles review is it's pretty good and maybe my knee-jerk response to the lack of WotL content was a bit unfair. some of the plot / script changes are clunky but they flesh out so many of the characters in a way that's really appreciated.

Playing FF Tactics for the first time? Hereβs a tip. Go to Mandalia Plain. Youβre gonna spend 5 miserable hours having all your characters power up like goku next to a terrified bird or have them throw rocks at each other until theyβre max level. This is the best game ever made btw.
lamp and tatsu is an incredible combination... where'd you buy the cds?
