The rail fare freeze is very welcome news. Year on year, fare rises have hit commuters in their pockets.

Good news! The boiler upgrade scheme will now support air-to-air heat pumps, which keep homes warm in winter and cool in summer.
These offer households more benefits than boilers while cutting reliance on bill-hiking fossil fuels.
