I actually wear a few hats 😊 My main background is in Software Development and IT, I also work in Real Estate, and sometimes I coach at the gym to stay active and balanced.

That sounds really intentional and calm in the best way. Taking a sabbatical to prepare for a Residency in Clinical Health Psychology shows so much depth and purpose. I find that mix of intelligence and emotional awareness very attractive, honestly.

What made you choose Norwegian in the first place? Was it the language itself, the culture, or just curiosity that pulled you in? And now that you’ve noticed this, has it made you more curious about Sweden too?

Scandinavian languages are like cousins, so moments like that really show how connected the region is same words, slightly different sounds, shared history. God jul kind of feels like a little cultural bridge between countries.

Do you feel more connected to one side when it comes to food, music, or traditions? And I’m curious, does your family still keep Galician or Brazilian customs alive at home, or is it more of a blended identity now?

Beira Alta gives that strong, grounded northern soul, Galicia adds that poetic, almost mystical Atlantic spirit, and Brazil brings warmth, rhythm, and color to it all. Lisbon kind of feels like the perfect place to tie all those stories together.

As for me, I’m originally from Sweden cold winters, calm vibes but life surprised me and now I’m living in Alabama 😄 Different worlds, right? I guess that makes conversations like this even more interesting.
