Actually, Meghan, trans people have been using the bathroom for decades. In fact in 2016, the last time Republicans engaged in bathroom panic, people freaked out because trans men went into women's restrooms and suddenly, people discovered that there were way more trans people than they thought.

Using the term "pregnant people" is inclusive and acknowledges the humanity of the people carrying a pregnancy, not just the upcoming humanity of their fetuses.
