Is it just a coincidence that Willa was called Eve and the evil being in the Garden was Eve?
Gus would have a better memory of Willa than Wynonna would have. Wynonna was a kid & I doubt Ward took a lot of pictures. As an adult Gus would probably realize it more easily. Since they never found a body maybe Gus held out hope that Willa would be found but wanted Waves & Wynonna to have closure
