Housing is my top priority. My experience of homelessness drives me to do all I can to prevent it. I've fought hundreds of housing cases, amended the Housing Bill to keep track of what landlords are charging, prompted change to ensure homeless students don’t miss out on EMA, spoken out on the rise of short-term lets and the impact this has. Our new budget is great news for housing - we're building homes, buying back empty properties, finding suitable accommodation for households with children, and preventing homelessness and extortionate rents.

I will always work hard to tackle housing issues.

I've lodged four amendments to the Assisted Dying Bill - parliament will be sitting late all week to debate and decide on each of the over 300 lodged by MSPs before the final version is voted on.

Thanks Skills Development Scotland for setting up this visit, and ongoing engagement with MSPs on skills and employment.

Apprenticeships are a brilliant way for people to stay and work in the Highlands, gaining high-quality skills while contributing to the local economy. I was impressed by the intelligence and dedication shown by the group; they're a real credit to the club and the city.

It was a bonus trip to the stadium for me this week to mark Scottish Apprenticeship Week, chatting to the seven boys who are earning while learning at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC.

We must support local talent if we want ICTFC – and Scotland! – to be competitive.

The SNP has a great story to tell going into this election, with a strong record of delivery throughout our time in power.

When we win in May, I will be fully focused on delivering for our area, just as Fiona and our other SNP representatives always have.

Delighted to hear from the First Minister this week during his visit to Inverness that the £2 bus fare cap will be in effect across the whole region by the end of the month, making journeys more affordable.

The SNP is tackling the cost of living and encouraging the use of public transport. 🚌

Those who face colder winters, have old homes, & generate more energy should have lower bills. The SNP has provided record NHS funding. Waiting times have fallen for 8 months in a row. I've been racing up and down on the train, making sure I'm in parliament to contribute to debates and vote on important matters, while also getting out and about on the campaign trail as much as possible.

I met with the Minister about this: while I agree regulation is needed, I want to make sure Highland businesses are heard.

The Capital Spending Review allows for the commencement of the construction of the A9/A96 Inshes to Smithton link road in 2028-29 and the Nairn Bypass in 2029-30, subject to business case approval and confirmation of funding.

The Cabinet Secretary confirmed this week: "it is planned that we will take forward a phased approach to delivery, starting with the Nairn Bypass, followed by the remaining sections of the scheme, from Seafield, east of Inverness, to Balloch and then on from Balloch to the Nairn Bypass"

I'm glad the Scottish Government listened to my calls for the Nairn Bypass to be brought forward to as soon as possible within the overall project timescale. This is what I have been arguing for, as it is the most urgent part of the dualling programme.

I've signed an open letter alongside colleagues in Holyrood and Westminster to Ofcom, urging rejection of the application to merge STV North with Central, which would disadvantage north audiences.

We must give local authorities every tool possible to prevent wildfires like the one that devastated Dava Moor last year.
I'm delighted my amendment, which will support local by-laws with fixed-penalty notice schemes, was supported by Parliament tonight.
