Doggo ran out of characters in the initial post but they are calling this ghost dog “The ghost of winter” An apparition of a dog-like figure stands on a pool of water. It gazes at the viewer with it’s beady, expressionless, eyes. Both of it’s ears sit upright and are pointed in the same direction. The rest of the dog’s body is similarly expressionless, lacking fur definition and any other discernible details across the span of it’s body. The dog’s entire body is covered in a solid snow-white color. Much like a powdering of snow dispersed by a gust of wind; a soft, wispy, aura of the same color seems to radiate off of the dog. The aura is most concentrated around it’s misshaped tail, which droops down on itself and yet somehow remains upward at the same time. Almost as if the tail itself has forgotten its identity. No longer even-in-width and wagging happily in it’s place. It remains stubbornly upright and still, slowly distorting and fading in place. The dog’s legs have undergone a similar distortion, they hold an offset, amorphous, interpretation of what a dog’s legs should look like. It’s paws have been lost to time. The ghostly dog remembers its life; how it used to prance and play, walk and run. But it remembers not the feeling of grass under it’s paws, the feeling of water rushing between it’s claws, or the incessant pawing and begging of it’s youthful years. It does not stand in the water, it floats weightlessly above it, creating no ripples or impressions in the world beneath it. Even further distorted, It’s reflection lurks beneath. Like a specter of a specter, a glimpse of a future yet to come. How long will winter last?
