I hate to see you not get credit for what sounds like a lot of hard work but I understand the impulse. :(

With what's going on with Subscribestar, it's a good moment to remind you all of something:
Free speech also includes speech you don't agree with, and freedom of artistic expression also includes art you find horrible or disgusting.
And if you go: "Yeah I agree! However-"
Then you don't agree!
Yup. Just look at US medical bankruptcy rates. A huge % of GoFundMe campaigns are people begging for money to pay for healthcare. Tens of millions of people have no insurance at all. Trump has gutted Medicaid funds & Obamacare subsidies. It's a dumpster fire.
Imagine the art that would be made if we werenβt all scrabbling to survive
Remember when people used to be all βhard times creates great artβ because no actually itβs just this.
I used to do thumbs this size to get composition down and then a more detailed sketch at half paper size.
I met with AI data labelers in Kenya who are organizing their colleagues to fight the brutal working conditions and horrible pay given to the workers at the "bottom of the AI supply chain." They believe the NDAs they've signed are unenforceable so are speaking out:

EVERY SINGLE PART of a lily is toxic!
Petals, leaves, pollen, the water in the vase.
You can celebrate someone other ways besides killing their cat.
I worked as a vet tech for 10 years. Let me assure you, you don't want to see your cat go through this nightmare.
In film we call this "planting and payoff" and reality has been doing it A LOT lately
Amid all the awful things happening with trans rights in the US/UK it's especially nice to see things like this.
Have you read the Poison Squad? Great book on the history of food regulations.
What will you find under the sea...

That's a long term goal but not a solution to the immediate crisis.
That said, shout out to Bloom by Delilah Dawson which I just read, did a great job with the sapphic romance. Unfortunately it is a horror story so the MC met a terrible fate. But very well done horror.
I mean, I'd at least expect the authors to be invested in the characters/relationship. I know romance is hard to write but you gotta show me something, not just tell me.
When a thing gets printed in China, it reaches the West on a massive fucking boat. If it wasn't massive, it would be logistically impossible to get it to where it needs to be on time. Our whole society is supported by an endlessly circling network of enormous boats.
Once again reminding all the usual suspects that you don't understand how big the boats going through that strait are. You think you have an idea in your head of what size the boats are, but you're wrong. You're probably a whole order of magnitude out, even. They're so big, dude.
Seriously what is with that trend. The books I've read marketed as sapphic have had f/f relationships but also. No development so it's just like, suddenly now they're in love! What?
I know any sequential artists that could pick-up a 4-page gig in the next month or so? Comedic piece about a knight who finds it easier to go on quests and fight dragons than to simply tell a lady that he loves her. For a larger project, you'd have to draw plate armor + a horse in three panels.
What if I just flopped on someone and got scritches like a little kitty cat
The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art)
Tell them you don't want to be told how to spend your money

Good to know. I just use Photoshop for things like that* and I don't need much of them so I've never seen a need to upgrade.
*Which I am still clinging to my ancient copy of CS4
I think I'm still on 1.0, lol. What upgrades to they even include?
You might find your library has adult summer reading options too! Last year the Indy Library had one. I got a hefty mug and a tiny dinosaur planter :D
Yeah thyroid issues are very common for older cats. My friend has a very crochety 17 yo lady who's been on ear goops for a couple years now.
Wow. I'm good at color games but this was very tricky. Interesting that some colors the line was invisible and some were clear, even at the end. I kinda wish it told you which colors you had the hardest time with

This escalated fast, in a good way.
I always forget fireflies are beetles.
Digital gouache painting Constable Earstripe from T.Kingfisherβs Saint of Steel Series. He is a gnole (essentially, badgerfolk), and is bipedal and clad in leather armour and carrying a spear.
Constable Earstripe. Iβm currently reading the βSaint of Steelβ series by T. Kingfisher. It has romance, hilarity, absurdity, horror, and badgerfolk, a.k.a. gnoles!
Iβm also working on a gouache brushset for Procreate, which this was made with. =)
