This is 12.5oz water,.75oz k salt, 4oz starter (100% hydration whole ground wheat berries), 1lb 4oz bread flour. Preheat Dutch oven with lid on for 1hr at 500 degrees F, put in boule and score, put lid on and back in oven, turning it down to 425 degrees F for 30min-32min with lid on, and then another 15min with lid off, still at 425 degrees F. Let it rest at least 1hr before serving.

Cast iron, Dutch oven. I settled on 300 degrees F for this chuck roast for about 5 hours, adding carrots and mushrooms for about 1-2 hours because they didn't all get soft. I used Zoup bone broth for the juice with various seasonings. Sourdough on the side, of course. Mashed potatoes, too!

I was using bread flour on the outside of the dough while I stretched it, but i used semolina flour on the outside this time. Wonderful. It gave the pizza little bumps all over it, enhancing more of the texture than flavor. 350g water 15g salt 15g olive oil 100g sourdough starter 500g bread flour

My concern w/ AI in schools: First, we need to get people comfortable with accepting what AI tells them as the truth or close enough. Then, we can charge corporations and gov't money to decide what words are displayed when you ask AI a question. Finally, we can have all the monies!

More Thanksgiving: A 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup makes a great gravy boat, and my Brod & Taylor bread proofer works great for keeping food hot, cycling on and off to keep the temp right. Use pots with lids for serving.

Chicken wings: coated with smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, baking powder, low fodmap garlic powder, Cayenne pepper, then deep fried. Tossed around in a sauce of butter, distilled white vinegar, and the same seasonings. I was surprised that the seasoning survived the deep fryer, but it did. Crazy!

The Masterbuilt turkey fryer works just fine for chicken wings, too! I rubbed these in black pepper, k salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder substitute, cayenne pepper, baking powder, then fried. The seasoning pretty much stayed on! Made a sauce of butter, dis white vinegar, and the same seasonings!

The masterbuilt turkey fryer honestly works. Indoor use is fine. That's a 14lbs bird in peanut oil. It took maybe 1.5hrs or something. It was fine. The white meat was not dry. I also used it for French fries. It worked well!

F-ing double ear infection that won't go away, despite antibiotics, so I made myself some comfort food. Mom Wilson's Canadian-style bacon, my sourdough toast, those blue eggs from the store (because they remind me of my old chickens' eggs) and French fries from peanut oil.

I love a good mega dungeon! Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk (3.5)? Great! The Emerald Spire (PF1)? Fantastic, but could have been bigger! It's still my favorite module, though. Been in many a homebrewed megadungeons, too! Still good!

Living with irritable bowel syndrome sucks, but it was FAR worse before the VA hospital found and put me on the low FODMAP diet. Sadly, the diet calls for the elimination or moderation of many plants (some so moderated that you may as well not buy it anymore). Luckily for me, I found that I tolerate sourdough well enough (wish I found it sooner, like a lot sooner), and many others who are prescribed this diet started businesses to recreate some of the plant-based foods we lost
